Vassalboro to Increase Selectboard to Five Members

Vassalboro residents overwhelmingly supported expanding the Selectboard from three to five members at the polls on November 4, 2025.

As a result, three Selectboard seats will be open for election in June 2026. Nomination papers will be available from the Town Clerk beginning March 3, 2026. The election will be held on June 9, 2026.

Serving on the Selectboard is one of the most meaningful ways to make a difference in Vassalboro. Selectboard members help shape local policy, guide the town’s long-term priorities, and ensure that community voices are heard in municipal decision-making. Whether addressing budgeting, supporting public services, or planning for the town’s future, Selectboard members play a vital role in keeping Vassalboro a strong and vibrant community.
