The Town Office will be CLOSING EARLY on June 30th, 2026

The Vassalboro Town Office will close early at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The office is typically open on Tuesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

This temporary schedule adjustment is necessary to allow municipal staff to close out the financial books, as the town’s fiscal year concludes on June 30. Due to the intensive system processing required for the year-end audit preparation, it will not be possible to conduct regular municipal business transactions after 3:00 p.m. Residents will not be able to process motor vehicle registrations at the Town Office, complete property tax payments, or obtain licensing during the final two hours of the business day.

Community members are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and complete any necessary in-person business earlier in the day or prior to June 30. Standard operating hours will resume on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 7:30 a.m..

For those needing to make routine payments, or reregister vehicles, select services may still be accessed remotely through the town’s online portal.
