Others Present: Mary Sabins, Mary Grow, and Assessor Ellery Bane.

1. Call to order – The meeting was called to order by Selectman Rob Browne at 10:00 a.m.

2. Mil rate – Sabins distributed mil rate option sheets as prepared by Assessor Ellery Bane and discussion was given as to the maximum and minimum tax rates that would be allowed under state law. Assessor Bane addressed the Board’s questions about the Homestead exemption program and the expected changes in the program next year. E. Bane explained to the Board that he will need to consider a factor adjustment in the assessed values for next year so that the Town can certified our assessment ratio with the State at 100%. After discussion and on a motion made by J. Melrose, seconded by R. Browne, the Board voted unanimously to set the 2019 tax mil rate at $15.60 per thousand (up from 15.45 for 2018 taxes).

3. Treasurer’s Warrants – On a motion made by J. Melrose, seconded by R. Browne, the Board voted unanimously to approve warrants #9.

4. Adjourn – There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 10:12 a.m.
