Thursday, December 10, 2020

1. Call the meeting to order.
2. Minutes: Review and approve the minutes of the October 28, 2020 meeting.
3. Sherwood Lane residents to request amendment to the marijuana ordinance to limit the number of marijuana growing facilities in Vassalboro and adding a provision to the town subdivision ordinance to prohibit marijuana grow facilities within subdivisions. (Select Board may refer the subdivision matter to the Planning Board for consideration.)
4. Discuss and possibly adopt Personnel Handbook amendments to reflect Maine’s new Earned Paid Leave Law (26 MRS Section 637).
5. Revisit and possibly adopt COVID-19 Recreation Field Closure Policy.
6. Discuss Appeals Board vacancy and possibly appoint Kevin Reed who has expressed a willingness to serve.
7. Discuss Trails Committee vacancy and possibly appoint Paul Oxley who has expressed a willingness to serve.
8. Discuss and set holiday hours for Thursday, December 24th and Thursday, December 31st.
9. Approve tax abatements for Tracy Brown (2018) and Barbara Hammond Heirs (2018 and 2019). Both mobile homes have been dismantled and no longer exist.
10. Topics for discussion as requested by Chairman Melrose:

a. Memorial Park Civil War statue repair
b. Surface for the recreation fields parking lot

11. Reports:

a. Road Report
b. Police Report
c. Financial Report
d. Transfer Station Report
e. First Responders’ Report

12. Approve Treasurer’s Warrants.
13. Other items as may be presented by the Town Manager or Select Board.
14. Adjourn
